FINAL - Getting care quickly project CYM - Jan 25
I am reaching out to share an exciting opportunity for local mums and their children to engage in a healthy, outdoor activity that promotes both physical fitness and social connections.
Realising that the local community lacked a group that would encourage mothers and their little ones to meet up and exercise in nature, I set up such a group 6 months ago and to my astonishment it grew rapidly and now has over 1,500 members! In this short time we have organised group hikes, walks, buggy runs, sunrise swims, mama-only socials, camping trips and more outdoor activities. Our aim is to encourage mums from all walks of life and of all fitness levels to explore the beautiful local trails while enjoying the benefits of fresh air, exercise and being part of a community.
Details of the Hiking Group:
Hiking Mums Wales (Facebook and Instagram)
Frequency: bi-weekly hikes or walks and other activities throughout the month
Location: Newport based but hikes and activities across South Wales
Age Range: hikes, walks and activities suitable for children of all ages
How to join: join our Facebook group for full details on how to join our walks and events.
Thank you
