Please find below information relating to the Police & Crime Commissioner’s community survey and small grants scheme.
Why is the Commissioner launching a survey and small grants scheme?
One of the first responsibilities as Police and Crime Commissioner is to issue a comprehensive Police and Crime Plan which reflects local priorities. To ensure the priorities within the Commissioner’s Police & Crime Plan reflect the needs and views of local people, victims, and communities in South Wales, she is actively seeking wider feedback to test her priorities as part of developing the Plan. We are keen to hear from you in terms of your insights and expertise, as well as seek your support in helping us to extend the reach of our survey and community grant via your community networks.
How can you help?
The Commissioner is committed to promoting diversity, inclusion and equity across policing and criminal justice, and understanding and addressing the needs of all communities. To achieve this, we want to ensure participation is as diverse as possible and that we hear from those who are often marginalised.
We would be grateful for your support in promoting and participating in the consultation activity outlined below and sharing widely through your networks, as well as communication channels such as newsletters, citizen panels and websites. I’ve also enclosed posters which we would be grateful if you could display within your organisation and locally.
How can people take part?
